Our Photography Sessions
Maternity photography in our Manchester or Preston studio is all about feeling empowered, celebrating your body and sharing the excitement of anticipation. Your partner and older children are invited, too!
Our newborn photography sessions in Preston or Manchester are gentle and baby-led. Ideal for babies up to 21 days old, with time for feeding, cuddles, and perfect posing. Family and siblings are invited to join in too!
Perfect for when your baby starts sitting confidently (typically around 5-9 months, but every baby is different!) These playful, funny, smiley sessions are designed simply to let your baby shine.
A cake smash photoshoot is a fun, messy, and joy-filled way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. These sessions capture giggles, curiosity, and celebrate a first (or second, third) birthday with beautiful portraits. And of course, the whole family can me involved!
We welcome animals in our family sessions in both the Manchester and Preston studio. Whether it’s a sweet moment between your child and your dog, or a full family portrait with your cat curled up on your lap - we make it possible.
Step into our magical enchanted photoshoot set, where your little one can play with the props, dress up in the most beautiful of dresses, flutter their wings and have the best time! These sessions are styled and edited to feel dreamy and whimsical, perfect for children who love to play, explore, and create timeless fairytale-like portraits.
As your child grows, so does their unique personality and style. Our sessions for older children and teens are relaxed, natural, and confidence-building—capturing them just as they are, whether playful, thoughtful, or bold. You can bring props with you to represent their hobbies to make the session very personal to them and who they are.
We love capturing your baby as they reach birthday milestones. These sessions are ideal for children aged 2 years and up celebrating a birthday!

Lead Photographer in Manchester
Sarah
Sarah began her journey with Wild Ginger Photography (that is now Together in Time Photography) in 2023 who became Together in time Photography in 2026 during a university placement, after which she was offered a permanent role and since them has quickly climbed the ladder from studio assistant to photographer. She has now graduated with a First Class Honours in Photography, and you will now find her covering all aspects of studio work from newborn babies, children, and also maternity and enchanted forest shoots!
Sarah is one of four children, and has always been surrounded by the joy and liveliness of family life. Now, as a proud aunty, she has come to treasure those moments even more, fully appreciating just how quickly they can pass!
In her spare time you will find Sarah exploring new places and enjoying time with her partner, family and friends.

Abi
Abi has always had a passion for photography, which started as a hobby at a young age and has grown into a fulfilling and exciting career. Abi joined Wild Ginger Photography in 2022 during her industry placement year at university, and since then, we’ve been unable to get rid of her…
…due to her many photography skills and her great nature with kids. What did you think we were going to say? Haha!
After finishing university with a First Class Honours degree in Photography, Abi worked full-time at our Manchester studio and soon proved her capability to manage a studio. So, we shipped her off to Leyland and finally got some peace and quiet!!!
We’re only joking!!! Abi is hardworking, talented, amazing with kids, and always makes photoshoots an enjoyable experience. She was therefore the perfect fit to manage our Leyland studio, Together in Time Photography.
Abi is very close to her family and understands the importance of capturing memories with loved ones. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and playing the flute on her days off.

Nika
Nika started the business in 2013. The first couple of years of Wild Ginger Photography (that is now Together in Time Photography) was covering mainly make over sessions (mother- daughter, boudoir, modelling portfolios) and family portraits. In 2018 she qualified as a newborn photographer to continue her studio journey focusing on newborns, babies and new families with Baby Art studios. This combination allow her to be an expert in all your photography needs!
Nika is mum to 8 year-old Leo and loves being able to spend quality time with her family. She knows just how quickly your little one's can grow up, as she was once photographing her son as a baby in the studio!
She loves being able to play with her ever-growing family of cats (she is currently at 6!) and spend time with her partner Stuart.
Chief entertainer
Stuart
Stuart normally sits in the corner, drinks his tea and talks IT. Once he emerges from his corner cave he entertain clients and makes cracking brews. Stuart didn't like his headshots taken so this is the nearest representation of Stuart possible.
